The Whitemud Chronicles

Drs. Kelley & Isern each completed a book manuscript while enjoying status as artists in residence at the Stegner House of Eastend, Saskatchewan, in 2014. They have co-authored papers about Wallace Stegner’s boyhood in southwestern Saskatchewan and have a deep affection for Eastend and its region. It will become the focus for their research on the Canadian prairies, laying out a suite of essays anchored in Stegner’s mixed-genre memoir, Wolf Willow. Historic Jack’s Cafe is one of the attractions of the community. . . .
